What has happened since we last met? Well, Fabrizzio-fo'-sheezyo came up, and I hope he doesn't mind if I call him that. We went to Publix together and put funny items in the cart like "Super quality" tampons and a giant mouse full of catnip. Then, I made some taco crunch or whatever at the apartment and Fabrizzio was like "daaaaang dawg, this s***'s on FIYA!" Well, not really, but I think he really liked it...and so did I. We went to Zac's apartment and had a good ol' time watchin' the "Family Guy" movie and then setting up a studio and recording our horrible versions of Fall Out Boy. That session will never see the light of day, thankfully. On top of all this, Julie wrote a pretty amazing series of epitaphs (you'll have to ask her) and gave me yet another reason to say "you have such a way with words. Gosh I love it!" Me oh my, twas a good night.
I hung out over Mixa's the next night, I think. He has this new cat that is PSYCHO! Well, the cat is fun too, so I guess it evens out. We played Katamari Damacy pretty much the whole time until I left; time very well spent, if you ask me. After that, I went back to my apartment and spent the rest of the night talking to Julie. Again, time very well spent, and I fell asleep happy.
Not much else has happened since then. I went to a pre-party at Adam's and it wasn't fun. I did try to enjoy myself though, for Scotty, and I did laugh a lot. I guess it is kind of fun watching people get more and more stupid as they drink. Beer pong is a pretty decent spectator sport, but you won't find me playing anytime
Yesterday was eh, alright. I didn't really do much besides play the computer and talk to Julie, but I'm not complaining, it was a great lazy Saturday. I grilled out with Scotty (shrimp skewers!) and made rice. Scotty is a really good cook, I really don't know how he does it. Actually, I asked him once and he said "well, if you remember right, I was a fat kid. Needless to say, I watched Food Network a lot and helped my parents cook a lot." Interesting, I was kind of chubby as a toddler...where are my culinary skillz? My night was spent walking around the community pool and talking to Julie about everything from the food pyramid to the Boston Massacre. After she fell asleep, I went back to the apartment and made some Bagel Bites and talked to my roomies. Sleep came easily last night.
I take it that all these easy nights are a good sign. I've been happy for quite some time now. I've diagnosed myself with African Sleeping Sickness because of how much I sleep during the daytime, but that's another story. Dang tsetse flies. Onwards for the rest of today!
